Only half of the class could make it to the field trip today.
We went to visit Helen Uffner Costume Shop on 37th St.
I first didn't quite understand when Mimi was explaining about original costume.
'Original' as they were made for the 1st play ever?
No, 'original' as in daily clothes of the period, vintage~
It was an incredible collection!
A huge loft of costumes dated as far back as 1860s!
And they were all in very good conditions.

I didn't bring my camera~ Argh!!!
Fortunately Alem came to rescue.
Her class would have a field trip on Monday night.
I took the Fashion History last semester, hopefully Lorye would let me join the trip..
