ground zero to liberty

still fascinated by the city..
when my friends are in town, i have an excuse to take my camera with me

Took Leonora and Irina around for sightseeing.
First stop, the ground zero.
Wasn't my favorite place.

On the way to the ferry for statue of Liberty, we made a turn to pass on NYSE.
I'd actually never been there before.

It was tensed. The pace was faster. I found comfort seeing a church.

Stood on line for 20 minutes to get ferry tickets. And an hour for the security check, etc... etc...
I got a little bored, so I entertained myself a bit by taking pictures of anything in sight. You named it, building, sculptures, and sweet little birds...

We were finally on board at 1:30pm.

Leonora and Irina found another German tourist. It became a big deal when he caught me from falling flat as I didn't realize the ferry was advancing. Oof, it was not easy being single!
