'tis the holiday season

je me suis rendu compte quand il n'y a aucun visuel,
je ne peux pas écrire un blog..

9pm I had a blogblock. Absolutely nothing to write about.
Had a quick chat with super busy Lola, went to class, drew, took the subway home.
Then I just sat here in front of my Z staring blankly.. occasionally looked around the room to see if there was anything at all to write about.
My room was definitely a big mess, the lilys were dying, newspapers were scattering on the floor.. no wonder I couldn't think, the sloppy surrounding bothered me!
So, I took off from the screen and started organizing.
As I cleaned and piled the newspaper, I found Pedro Matinez on the back on yesterday's NY Post. After all the brawls, clearly he wasn't quite welcome in NY, eventhough he became one of the Mets.

The Best Snorts In Town, it is!

Let's move on.

The OC was on FOX tonite.
The dramatic and magical Chrismukkah episode.
It started pretty well, then it got pretty twisted, but ended beautifully.

I didn't quite understand why holidays were full of drama in America.
It seemed like people were dreading themselves to spend time with the family.
It was totally a different experience where I grew up.
I love holidays!
Those were the days where I got to see my 10 cousins from my father's side on Christmas or Chinese New Year. Or my 30 cousins from my mother's side (on Eids or other moslem holidays).
Not that I didn't see them during the year, just I got to meet them all at once!
The parents and grandparents were just as cozy.
We had a big feast starting noon, then chatted and teased each other the whole afternoon, ate some more, and went home smiling.
No one ever made excuse not to attend.
And it was never EVER about gifts!
There were only feasts with bundles of amusing stories.
I miss you all~ muach.. muach!

ich sagte, ich würde winken..
sie kamen mit einer grossen umarmung und einem kuß..
winken + umarmung = meine hand auf ihrem brustkorb!
was kuß anbetrifft, es ist immer gut
