Jean-Claude Baker, one of the Rainbow Tribe of Josephine Baker's adopted children, stopped by my class today. He was telling us this enchanting short stories of her adopted mother. It was fascinating! He spoke with a rich French accent. A very sweet and down-to-earth kinda man. Should definitely check out chez Josephine and have a chat with him sometime.
