une exception
It was a Window Display Design afternoon.
Today's little project was to arrange the merchandise in certain way to let the viewer imagined what wasn't there -- in this case, a face.
So, there we were stringing things together.. it took sometime for the untrained -- yes, as in myself!
The 2nd part, we had to create an impression of wind blowing..
Well.. since the scarf that I brought was quite heavy and stiff, in reality, when the wind blew it, it would still stay straight, not rippled.
My instructor argued me on that.. It wasn't about the reality, it was about people's perception of fabric blowing, hence would create a rippling effect..
He arranged the ripple himself.. boof!
Not that I didn't understand what he was saying, I simply refused to let the eyes fool me.
The fact was the fabric was waaaaay to heavy and stiff.
If I saw it rippled on the window, I'd be amazed.. and soon disapointed myself when I had my hands on and it didn't give the same feeling!
ausgenommen in den fall vom bad... schließen sie ihre augen und lassen sie ihre vorstellung folgt ihnen... :)
das abendessen mit 5 kursen ist immer gut!
