ich kann mit ihr pferde stehlen

~ it was one of those days when you ran with your instinct and followed your heart ~

Quite a catasthropic day~

Leonora wanted to get some chinese dress, so I took her to Pearl River since I couldn't stand China Town in the rain. Tried on a couple pieces, but they were all the wrong fit. Either too short -- hell, she was 179cm! or to wide, etc.. etc.. She gave up and just got some souvenirs instead.

Got home around 1pm to finish up my final project.
Leonora was fidgeting on my Z.
She was being impatient waiting for Lola to call and had a drink, so she emailed him instead!
We settled for 7pm at French Roast.

At 6, I ran out and caught a cab, because it was pouring out and I had rolls of oversize papers on my arms! And I wasn't even an architect!

Lisi, Roslyn, and Susan were waiting for me by the door.
We started the critique right away.
Roslyn went first. It took her an hour!
Oh! I'd be late!
I called up Lola and apologized.
I told him I supposed to meet Leonora and Irina in front on Urban Outfitters on 6th Ave and 14th St. I asked if he wouldn't mind to pick them up and went on to cafe before me. I promised to join at 7:30.

Susan put up her sketches from day 1. Oh, dear!
But then she saw I only put up 4 sketches and a final, she pulled down some of them and started. Oof!
She kept arguing with Lisi that she was stalled and there was no more room for her to improve.
It went on for half an hour and I started fidgeting! It was 7:30!

Lisi saw me cracking, she stopped the endless argument and moved to my work.

Susan once again had to argue about which of my work was more appropriate to frame. Eh? I totally don't care! I think they could be improved.
My critique was done in 10 minutes.

7:40.. I pulled down all my pieces, put on my coat, and ran out.
It was too late and a misunderstanding.
I was feeling super guilty.
Went to pick up Leonora and Irina in front of Urban Outfitters and head home.

After dinner, I put my coat back on.
Leonora was half asleep, she asked where I was going.
Oh, Brooklyn! You wanna come? We can go to Häagen-Dazs afterward~
How long does it take to go to Brooklyn by Subway?
Who's taking subway? I'm taking a cab!
Cab?
Her eyes sparkled. She pulled her coat and her handycam in 5 we were out the door!
I loved her! :)
She was smiling ear to ear when we pass Brooklyn bridge!

It was cold and dark when we arrived.
We managed to get in, dropped the little deer by the table in front of Lola's room and left.

Leonora insisted to take another cab back to the city.
You kidding me? It wasn't easy to find a cab in Brooklyn.
The cops were laughing at us, the subway station was right in front of our nose.
2 of the cab cruised by, totally ignored us.
We were freezing our ass off when the 3rd one was kind enough to pick us up.

Next stop was Häagen-Dazs. I didn't quite understand why we were having ice cream when it was 30F out. C'est l'hiver à New York, pas d'été à Nice! I had a scoop of coffee. An odd choice for late nite snack.

We were both sugar high afterwards. Got home, put on more clothes and thicker coat and went to Rockefeller Center! The tree lights were already out when we arrived. The angels were still on. Took a couple of pictures and went along the 5th.
It was nice and quite.

i don't know why, but i like taking pictures of cathedral...

ich kann nicht frohe weihnachten haben, wenn ich sie nicht sehe!!

i love your sketches, they r expressive [but not the first one, coz I couldn't see it clearly...hehe...], specially your final. I think the one with folded legs is beautiful, it is charming in that charcoal looks.
Fabulous!..love them alot!

first one was done in vine charcoal, that's why it wasn' t as sharp. Plus, it was done on the very first class.
the image was this big shell merging with some kinda pumpkin...
Thanx for checking it out!
