les médecines orientales

I'd drank up all my medicine, but wasn't fully recovered yet.
So, I called up Novita to go to Chinatown with me.

I was looking more like an eskimo when I arrived at Thompson Cafe.
She opened the door, dragged me in, and introduced me to her friend.
This is my friend, sphinxku!
And this is so-and-so (I totally didn't pay attention, sorry!) he just came back from Iraq, the best soldier!
The smile turned to a smirk.
I really didn't know how to react to hear "Iraq."
What to say? It's good that you've come back in one piece?
I meant I totally symphatized towards the soldiers, but there was absolutely no purpose to the war but greediness and perhaps a revenge.
He asked where we were going and was quite charming.
So, I didn't say anything, tried to smile, and excused myself.

We went to pick up a syrup and some tea at a Chinese pharmacy in Lafayette.
Novita invited me to have dinner in the Bronx.
I took a raincheck.
We went to eat noodle soup instead.

Stopped by another store to pick up chincau -- some kinda grass jelly, for dessert.
Oh, it's actually good to eat chincau when you have cold.
Really? I got 2 and put it to test.
It worked a wonder!
Totally relieved the sore-throat and swollen glands!

würstchen?? yummm yummm~
