A Streetcar Named Desire
Let see.. what to write today?
These days I barely have time to myself.
I have 10-9 schedule between work and school.
No, I'm not complaining.
Actually totally exhilirated and satisfied that I'm just as driven and ambitious as 8 years ago...
Left at 2pm for the 19th century novel class.
Home at 4 to read A Streetcar Named Desire, did characters breakdown and approach and concepts for Costume Design.
Went to consult with Mimi at 6pm.
Brought in photos and pictures of New Orleans architectures and some 1940s sketches.
She was totally excited about the sources that I brought for the play.
I guessed staying at the Mid-Manhattan NYPL until 9pm yesterday paid off!
Although I regretted having said I'll do the details with French laces mirroring the wrought iron of New Orleans architecture..
I totally deteste laces, ribbons, and all those girly mumbo jumbo!
Arrrrgh, I itch just thinking about it!
But hell, if this is what a future looks like, I do it!
Hmm.. maybe instead of laces.. I can.. eureka!
The good news was, Mimi asked me to do the whole costume plot for the play!
Hooray!!!!!
Had dinner at Sammy's with Angela.
Hey, I finally have a buddy from a design class!
Oh, I almost forget.
Happy Birthday to my sweet Atta~
Wait for me to get home..
Love always, Dg. Paccing.
