in and out

The day rolled off like the wind today.

I woke up right when Leonora closed the door.
They went to the baby store on 25th & 7th.
It was quiet but I couldn't fall back to sleep.
So I got up.

They came back at noon with loads of shopping bags.
Baby clothes, a beautiful camel coat for Irina, and food!

After lunch, Leonora was taking a nap.
I decided to run a quick errand.
Needed a tube of toothpaste, a jar of moisturiser, and tickets for Empire State building.
I was having a quick chai and a chat with Novita at Thompson cafe.. hmm.. warm and sweet.
Lola miaowed in, worried about the earthquake in Indonesia.

Came back home and picked Leonora and Irina up for a shopping trip.
Leonora wanted to get some C&C and and Airmax 2004 for her "friend."
I took them to Barney's, unfortunately there were only ugly colors of C&C there.
I knew Steven should have some, but it was not at his store anymore.
I'd give him a call tomorrow.
Off to Nike Town for Airmax.
Leonora got a pair of super cool City Knife.

Took the bus to Empire State Building.
There was an hour line to take the elevator up. boof!
It wasn't quite a day to be on top of the building, super blustery.
I lasted only 5 mins outside, the wind was pushing me around.
I didn't like it. So I waited in the gift shop instead.
Got home and had some Irina's cooking for dinner.. yumm yumm..
