le vieux monde
Spent too much time primping and no time for breakfast..
So, I picked up some cupcakes at Billy's.-- although, the German Chocolate Cake was tempting!
I usually wasn't interested in them because I was over icing a long time ago.
But they were so old American, the reminiscence of happiness, sweet, and warmth of their childhood...
And would make the girls happy!
When I passed Sus the box, her eyes sparkled!
The rest were following us around like little kittens.
Brought just enough for everybody.
The usual Thursday afternoon followed.
19th Century novels, read read read, caught up with Costume Design.. etc.. etc..
Costume Design class started a little.. hmm.. the history of costume from the dawn of the mankind.
The 2nd part was totally different.
Got one-on-one with Mimi to discuss the progress of our project and she assigned the next step.
We could leave after the discussion, but I decided to hang and scoured the books she brought in.
They were amazing costume books, some out of prints.
Checked with Lola if we were in fact meeting at the same lobby.
A knock on the window and a smile..
I was excited to see his drawings.
Compared to my first drawing, his was far more superior! Darn!
nachtisch und rauchiger tee verließen uns betäubt...
