from central park to south ferry

It was Leonora and Irina's last day in New York.
We made a quick run from 79th St. to South Ferry.

By the time, I finished shower, Irina was out the door.
Leonora was by the window enjoying the view one last time.
I asked her where Irina went to by herself.

Oh, just to get more baby clothes for my sister...
And you let her go by herself?
Du hast einen Vogel!
I'm not responsible if you lose your mother in NY!

It's ok, you always want to keep her anyway~

Alright, I'm not going to have this conversation with her.
Had my breakfast and chatted while waiting for Irina.

Irina came back with a bag of baby clothes. Oh, Leonora wasn't pleased at all. She left and cooled herself down at the lobby.
We took the subway and went down under AMNH, my favorite museum in New York. There was a long line, it wasn't in our agenda anyway. So, off we went to Central Park.

AMNH had a pair of green dinosaurs guarding the gate

Leonora was a bit disappointed Central Park wasn't green. It was winter! She took her cameras out anyway.

A white swan and a mandarin duck were quietly chatting, while the pigeons and seagulls were frolicking on the glassy lake. It was marvellous. I loved birds!

Leonora and Irina took some pictures, then we headed to Strawberry Fields and took the subway below The Dakota.

she hated her goody goody image and requested me to have this picture posted. oh, dear!

Off to Macy's this time. Leonora wanted to get some party dresses and gloves.
She picked a pink flower tulle number and I chose a black halter and some jewelry for her.

Quick snack at KFC, then to South Ferry for souvenirs.
Walked up to Century 21 to get sweaters for her father and uncle and home.

Her mother cooked the last lunch for us, then they packed.
I sat quietly with my back against them.

On the way to JFK, we had a long chat about career, men, and the future~
They walked through the gate at 8pm.
I took the subway home.

It was awfully quiet at home.. nobody to greet.
I didn't like it one bit.

I'm going to brush my teeth and sleep, tomorrow is another day~

bon voyage, Leonora~
je te manquerai
j'espère qu'un jour nous vivrons plus près de l'un l'autre~
bisous

Indri, dank deinen Eltern, dass du auf der Welt bist... Sonst wäre mir eine einzigartige Freundin verborgen geblieben! -Leonora-
