à Nyack

vacation vacation.. and there is no place to spend it better than the burbs!

I didn't get to go to Rochester this time,
but Nyack was not a bad choice at all.
This time I got to see Richard's house in daylight.
It was surrounded by trees -- surely would look better in Summer, but I could imagine it for now, a little stream ran on the back. The bedrooms upstairs were facing Nyack beach.

Novi and her family went to Macy's to spend their gift cards.
I had no desire to shop, so I spent my time at the bookstore in front of Macy's instead. Caught up on magazines.
Came home to have lunch and took a little nap.
At dusk, Richard dropped me and Novi at Nyack Beach.
Oh, breathtaking!!
We sat and watched birds frolicking and floating on the river. I loved them!
Walked a few steps on the trail and turned around because Novita was scared of the dark.. hahaha~

Climbed back up and walked home.
Good thing I wore my coat as it got a bit cooler.
Nobody was home yet. They were at the grocery.
We slouched on the couch, watched tv and fall asleep until dinner time.
