un beau jour

My dear mother called me super early today -- it was 5:30am, I just went to bed 2 hrs earlier...
She sounded worry and asked why i didn't wish her a happy new year.. WHAT??
but I did call. I tried her mobile for half hour but it didn't go through, so I tried my dad's and got his machine.
Anyway, she was going to let me back to sleep, but all this time I was waiting for her to call me back, hence I woke up.
She said she enjoyed her time in Bali with the family.. etc.. etc... then passed the phone to my brother. I told him his tumorous robots were sitting on my shelves.
We talked about Aceh. I told him I didn't watch the news anymore as I couldn't eat or sleep afterwards and it made me so blue...
I told him I was going to call dad to check about my message.. "yes? what do you need? sure. good bye!" he knew well how my dad answer our phone at his office. hahaha~
Called dad to ask whether he got my message, "oh? i've never checked my machine." No wonder!!!
I wished him a happy new year and that was all since he was in a meeting with one of my uncle.
Went back to bed~

Woke up again around 11am.
Planned the day.. I could run some errands before going to work, I thought.
Checked email, showered, chillin' to the Beatles.. it was already noon.
Suddenly hit me, Pam told us to come at noon today! Oh no!!
Got ready and off I went!
Thank God, she was quite laid back these days as her last day approached. huf!

Lola knocked on the window a little after 2:30.
Went to lunch at Cafe Gitane.
Came back the the red couch and he went back to his studio.
